5 Year-Old Boy Drowns at MCM Grande Hotel in DeSoto
May 22, 2009

April 13, 2009

Tragedy has struck the family of a 5-year-old boy who died after being found unconscious in an indoor pool at the MCM Grandé Hotel in DeSoto. William Tiojai was attending a party with several other children when the incident happened. According to DigitalJournal.com, 300 children under the age of five drown every year in a residential swimming pool. There are numerous laws and city codes and ordinances that are designed to prevent these tragedies, especially when your child is in the care of others and they fail to supervise your child or fail to install necessary safety features to guard against young children from having unsupervised access to swimming pools. However, rarely do these events lead to criminal prosecution of those who are responsible. Hopefully, you will never be faced with this heartbreaking loss, but if you are, you should consider hiring Montes Herald Law Group, L.L.P. to investigate the incident and to hold those who are responsible for your child's safety accountable.
